Healing Breast Implant Illness
This website is going to be your new best friend. It has so much information about BII, resources for detoxing, healing and more. **I will put a disclaimer here though. Do not get caught up on the list of doctors. I find this “list” to be very suspect. First of all, if there is a list of doctors that are recommended, then you know a doctor will do or say just about anything to be on it. Second of all, it is not clear how doctors get on this list. I have seen some recommended doctors hurt women in the Facebook group associated with this website. You probably won’t see the posts though, as the admins routinely delete posts. I would find some women in local groups and ask who they met with. Make several consultations and take your time. My doctor was not on the list.
Christina's Fitness - Breast Implant Illness
Christina Roulund is a wealth of information on Breast Implant Illness. Here blog is so helpful from beginning to end when it comes to explanting. And one of my favorite parts is her exercise program. Exercising after explant can be difficult given that we are deficient in collagen and essential vitamins/minerals, have gut and hormonal imbalances, and experiencing chronic inflammation. Christina is a fellow Explant Warrior that knows what it takes to get us back on track based on our specific needs.
33 Reasons NOT to Get Breast Implants Your Doctor Didn’t Warn You About
This is an article that I really liked. While it was far less detailed, it was a great read without completely overwhelming you along the way. It would make a great article to share with loved ones who may not understand BII.
MedWatch Voluntary Reporting Form
PLEASE report the problems that you are having with your implants to the FDA via this form. The FDA currently relies on the manufacturers, who are ruled by the all mighty dollar, to report problems with implants themselves via unfinished studies. Lack of reporting is the very reason that the FDA doesn’t believe BII affects enough people to ban implants.
Facebook Groups
Breast Implant Illness Rejuvenation and Education with Christina
This is by far the most supportive and nonjudgmental Facebook group that I belong to. This group is full of women that truly supportive without all of the negativity over how each women chooses to heal that you see from other groups. Christina is fully committed to providing as much information as she can to the group and has helped me so much through my own journey.
Blessed by BII Support Group
I love this group. LeeAnn Coldsmith leads a group all about loving yourself and embracing the power that your body carries to heal itself. Learning to love yourself after explanting can be one of the hardest things you can do, but it so important to your healing journey.
Breast Implant Illness and Healing by Nicole
This is the main Facebook group for BII. When I joined, there was approximately 75,000 women in the group, and just two months later that number had grown to almost 83,000 (June 2019). You’ll find answers, stories, pictures and more. The group can get overwhelming and can be very “do it our way, or the highway” though, so make sure to search for local groups as well. **You won’t find me posting here anymore, but I still think this is a beneficial group if you are just starting your journey, but I don’t recommend spending much time here.
Breast Implant Illness & Problems - Texas
This was my first local group. Such a great group of women. They gave me my first chance to meet local women before and after implant.
There are so many more Facebook groups out there for you to join. Find one local, find one smaller, or even one dedicated to just detoxing after explant to help you out. Just know you are not alone.

Healing Playlist on Spotify
This is the playlist that I created to listen to while I’m healing after explant. These songs are produced at specific frequencies to encourage healing at a cellular level. I like to shuffle and repeat so that it plays the entire time I am sleeping.
Dr. Diana Zuckerman at FDA Meeting on Breast Implants
She works for the National Center for Health Research and testified at the FDA hearing in March 25th, 2019. What I found very interesting, is that she starts off stating that the manufacturers purposely excluded women with autoimmune diseases from their studies, and the device booklets already state that you should tell your doctor if you have autoimmune diseases. They’ve always known! She gives so much more insight as well.
Question & Answer with Dr. H Jae Chun
Dr. Chun is one of the nation’s leading experts in explants. This video was able to answer some of my more technical questions. He has quite a few videos on his Facebook page and YouTube channel that goes into details of en bloc and total capsulectomy.
