The Coloring Book
My date has been set, but it’s still a couple of months away, and I can barely keep still during the wait. I’m trying to prepare myself for the recovery, and I’m super busy fretting over the cost of explanting, so I came up with the idea of a coloring book. Well, two really.
Who doesn’t love to color these days? We are told to take it easy and basically do nothing while we are healing. I can only watch so many movies, so I decided that coloring would be a great activity that didn’t require much movement and is a great stress reliever. I was looking through my current coloring books and for some new ones online when I realized that we need our own coloring book.
There are tons of coloring books for breast cancer and other ailments. They offer words of encouragement and some even give you an outlet to vent in the most adult way—cussing! I love those coloring books and have bought several of them for loved ones that have been diagnosed with cancer.
So I made my own. They are perfect for those of us that have implanted and are looking to de-stress or for words of encouragement. They are also perfect for those of us that are looking for something to do while we wait for our surgery date. That wait is hard.
They have’t officially gone on sale yet since I am waiting to get them back from the printer, but if you would like to pre-order, please click here. I’m not collecting money now. Your name will simply go on a list so that I can email you a link to purchase when they come in. You’ll get the first option to buy!!
